About "Doc" Sanborn
“Doc” Sanborn, a born and bred New Englander, migrated to Florida's sun coast some years ago, where he now spins tales of courage and conflict, demons and dragons, and things that go bump in the night. He writes both fiction and nonfiction, and has published in such diverse journals as: The Florida Writer, Appalachia, American Whitewater, Diseases of the Nervous System, Child Psychiatry and Human Development, and Psychological Reports. His three memoirs--Sanborns' Camp, Escape From Xanadu, and Plebe: My Year at the Citadel, are available on amazon.
Along the way, “Doc” has been a high school teacher, a clinical psychologist, a commodities trader, a Shaolin Kempo instructor, a Master-Teacher Reiki practitioner, and a hiker, earning membership in the Appalachian Mountain Club's New England 4000 Footer division. “Doc” is a member of the Florida Writers Association-Manatee, the Elements and Arcs Workshop, and the Nonfiction Authors Association. |
